ALL LIFE IS PROTECTED –
NO KILLING. No hunting is allowed. Alternatives to culling
are sought. Natural methods of control and protection are encouraged and
practiced. Living in Nature is a privileged experience. Rather than chase
it, observe the wondrous ways of different species. You are specifically
requested not to use any poisonous substances that may end up in a food
chain.
MALARIA. This
being an area where Malaria is present, you are advised to use some protection
on your self in the form of an insect repellent (Tabbard spray) and/or
instructions from your doctor. Provided you do so, you will be at minimal
risk of contracting Malaria. In a period of more than five years now,
no one has contracted Malaria here.
ALL PERSONS ENTER AND STAY
AT THEIR OWN RISK. Bed in the Bush, Silonque Sisters Farm or
any of its owners or employees are not responsible for any loss or damage
of whatever nature. You are in a Nature Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger
National Park. Wild life of all descriptions may be encountered – please
be mindful and respect this privilege. One never knows what one will come
across next. As a rule, wild animals are not looking for people to bite
or eat – there are other provisions for that. Provided you stick to the
basic rules – you are probably in one of the safest places in the world!
